Indonesia Nola Wonga is a vibrant, washed Arabica with a refined and expressive cup profile, combining delicate floral aromatics, silky sweetness, and sparkling citrus complexity.

The coffee is produced by the Nola Wonga Farmers Group, founded in 2014 by Felix Soba with a vision to protect and revitalise Bajawa’s celebrated organic coffee heritage. At a time when many farmers were abandoning coffee in favour of short-term vegetable crops, Soba championed a different path—one that recognised coffee not only as a crop, but as a source of long-term prosperity, environmental stewardship, and community resilience.

By providing financial support, distributing free seedlings, and sharing knowledge on sustainable farming practices, Soba helped farmers maintain coffee cultivation alongside other crops, preserving both income diversity and the region’s rich agricultural traditions. What began as a local initiative has since evolved into a thriving community success story, with growing international demand creating new opportunities for farmers and their families.

Grown between 1,300 and 1,600 metres above sea level, these coffees benefit from cool mountain temperatures, fertile volcanic soils, and careful washed processing, resulting in exceptional clarity and elegance in the cup. Floral notes of elderflower open the experience, followed by the smooth, honeyed sweetness of agave syrup and a bright burst of pomelo citrus that lingers through a clean, refreshing finish.

Every cup of Nola Wonga reflects the determination of a farming community committed to preserving its coffee-growing future.
