Bright, vibrant and utterly drinkable — this Tolima microlot is a filter-roast celebration of ripe fruit and silky chocolate. Hand-picked at peak ripeness and hand-sorted to remove defects, the cherries are sundried on raised beds under temperature-controlled conditions to lock in sweetness and clarity.
Made from 100% Caturra (a hardy natural mutation of Red Bourbon), this lot shows Tolima’s prize-winning pedigree — farms here consistently feature in Cup of Excellence and national competitions.
In the cup: passion fruit, red wine, tangerine with a rich chocolate backbone and a long, clean finish. Roasted for filter, it’s brilliant on V60, Chemex or batch brew.
Brew tip: use 60g/L, medium-fine grind, and enjoy the bright, layered acidity with a velvety chocolate finish.
