From the hills of Dipilto, Nueva Segovia, this washed Red Catuai is grown on Las Naranjas, one of the small family farms owned by sisters Martha and Ana Albir. Third-generation producers, they not only manage their farm but also run Cafetos de Segovia, a renowned dry mill that works with nearly 50 local producers. Their dedication to quality has earned them recognition in Nicaragua’s Cup of Excellence year after year. This lot is a lively, flavour-packed cup with notes of butter toffee, orange soda and pear cola, rounded out by a juicy stone-fruit medley. Grown at 1250–1500 MASL, it’s a vibrant and refreshing coffee that showcases the Albir family’s commitment to both heritage and innovation.
